We test and review the cheap stereo earphones with microphone Canyon SEP-4
We have tested various headphones and earphones throughout the years but the Canyon SEP-4 is probably the cheapest set so far with a price tag of under $10.
Few days ago we needed a budget set of earphones to pair with Samsung A52s on the go and checked what was available in the local tech store.
Usually, I would recommend the JBL Tune 110 as the best budget earphones on the market and not research other models. Yes, the Tune 110 are really that good for around $15.
But with a price difference of almost 50% in favor of the Canyon we decided to try something different.
So, basically Canyon SEP-4 is a very cheap earphones set with flat cable and mic with the following specs:
Canyon SEP-4 - product specifications
- Flat anti-tangling cable
- Inline microphone
- Bass driven stereo
- 3 sizes of earbuds included
- Cable length: 120±5 cm
- Driver diameter: 10 mm
Canyon SEP-4 - sound quality
As expected, the sound quality coming from a 5 Euro earphones set is far from excellent. Canyon claims that the SEP-4 delivers bass-driven stereo sound but don't expect anything different from decent sound quality that reflects the price quite well.
We still haven't tested the mic capabilities but we would expect them to be on a similar level.
Canyon SEP-4 - price
- 5 Euro
- $7
Other similar model is the Philips In-Ear SHE 3850 which we reviewed earlier.
