Consumer review of the TP-Link Tapo P100 smart plug after one year of use
Almost a year passed since we bought and tested for the first time the TP-Link Tapo P100 Wi-Fi smart plug so it is time for our long-term review and first-hand consumer impressions.
To start with, we have to admit that will be a positive review since we didn't have any issues with this product and it worked as intended and served its purpose properly.
We used the Tapo P100 mostly in the winter season to turn on and off a heating device remotely. This saved us time and of course had positive impact on the electricity bill.
TP-Link Tapo P100 - general impressions and consumer feedback
As explained in our initial review of this product, setup and installation were pretty much easy and straightforward. After installing an app on our smartphone.
Tapo P100 is quite compact and the clean white design fits nicely in almost any interior. It supports electronic appliances up to 2300W which should be just enough for most consumers.
When turning on or off there is a very low clicking sound to notify you that there is a change in the mode.
Other than that this entry-level TP-Link smart plug worked flawlessly and no strange behavior was detected.
