Consumer opinion about the HP EliteBook 745 G5 laptop after 3 years

By modern standards I wouldn't call the HP EliteBook 745 G5 an ultrabook but it is definitely a laptop. And yes, I do have some negative impressions about this laptop after using it for almost 3 years but it is not all bad.

HP EliteBook 745 G5 - my personal opinion

Since this was my personal laptop for couple of years now this product review is not on behalf of the Test and Review but rather my personal feedback and impressions. I just wanted to share couple of quick thoughts about this product in general.

And generally speaking, if it was my money today I wouldn't buy this ultrabook for various reasons. Some of them are the mediocre performance, lack of some essentials like memory card slot and few others.

I also don't like the Full HD display which compared to the one I have on the Dell Precision 3520 is just... lets se it is OK but far from premium.

On the positive side I should say that the EliteBook 745 G5 was relatively stable performer for general tasks. It also kept its shape and looks after some heavy abuse from time to time. It is still fully functional, all keys and ports are working and feel almost like new, something that cannot be said for many laptops used on everyday basis for 3 years.

Well, that was my quick consumer opinion for the HP EliteBook 745 G5 laptop. I am still using it in 2021 but it is definitely not on par with the latest ultrabooks on the market.
