Panasonic Lumix S5 - nature beauty in full-frame

It has been just couple of weeks since we got the Panasonic Lumix S5 full-frame camera and we are still learning how to get the best out of it.

As a starter we spent some time outdoors and took these beautiful images around the yard where flowers bloom under the sun:

As you can see the S5 achieved pretty good results with fast and accurate focus and decent depth-of-field even with the kit zoom lens. Images are sharp and vibrant and to be honest required just a minimum correction in post.

What we particularly like in this and other Panasonic cameras (same in the MFT GX9 we had) are the color accuracy which is very good. Yes, some results are not as pleasing right out of the box as compared to most Canon full-frame cameras but the color science from the Lumix S5 is on a very good level and we prefer it compared to some direct rivals like the Sony A7 3-rd gen.
