Testing the Head Graphene 360 Instinct S tennis racket

Having a nice day at the tennis court and testing the Head Graphene 360 Instinct S tennis racket

Head Graphene 360 Instinct S

We have the Head Graphene 360 Instinct S for almost a year now and we used this racket in more than 20 games, including couple amateur tennis tournaments during the summer. So it is time to share our honest feedback about the Instinct S and why we intend to keep this very capable tennis racket.

Before we continue with the video from the tennis court that we recorded for you today, let us remind you the main specifications of the Head Graphene 360 Instinct S:

Head Graphene 360 Instinct S test - video

As I explained in the video, the Instinct S is a very forgiving racket at 285 grams. It is not as stable as the similarly weighted Yonex Ezone 100L but is a bit softer when hitting from the base line and it is just great for tennis players with elbow or shoulder injuries.

The Ezone 100L on the other hand is way stiffer and much more stable at the net. The Instinct S feels easier to maneuver at this weight and one of the easiest overall rackets we have played with in the last couple of years.

In regards to accuracy and precision we would say it is somewhere in the middle - not as accurate as the Wilson Ultra 100L Camo that we loved so much.

Head Graphene 360 Instinct S - our 2020 feedback

So, the Head Graphene 360 Instinct S is definitely a racket that we liked while playing with it in 2020. We will probably keep the racket for 2021 either as primary or backup unit.

Please let us know what do you think about the Graphene 360 Instinct S or the racket that you are currently playing with, we will be happy to hear from you.

Hello, head instinct S vs Wilson ultra 1ppL vs Yonex Ezone 100L?

I am looking for the best compromise between power and precision. I have a small size and I come out of a tennis elbow.
Thanks for you advise

The Instinct S is the most forgiving for injuries, it has good power and control. The Ultra and the Ezone 100L have very stiff frames and are not good for elbow and shoulder injuries. Head Instinct S and Yonex Ezone 100L are more spin friendly than the Wilson Ultra 100L which has more power but flat shots.
