There are couple of major changes in the new Samsung Galaxy J7 (2018) SM-J720F and SM-J720F/DS compared to the 2017 model. Here are some of them as reported by Test and Review earlier this week:

We will see dedicated operating buttons at the bottom front part under the 5.6 inch Super AMOLED screen.
On the back side of the phone we will see the biggest change for the new model – dual-camera with flash. This feature is a first in a J-series smartphone which will attract more buyers, especially those who care about the quality of their photos.

One of the major differences consumers will find in the new model will be the larger 5.6 inch Super AMOLED display (compared to the 5.5 inch in the current J7 2017).
