Electric stove Electrolux EKC52550OX consumer review and cleaning tips

Consumer review of the Electrolux EKC52550OX electric stove after 6+ months of use

Most of you probably know that we've had a new kitchen at home and bought all of our appliances brand new. The Electrolux EKC52550OX electric stove was one of them. I've used it actively for more than 6 months and want to share my experience.

Overview

This is a freestanding stove so you don't need a special place in your kitchen furniture for it. You get a combination of an oven + four ceramic electric hobs. My household doesn't use gas so we decided on all-electric stove and the EKC52550OX was the perfect choice. It is a high energy class (A+++) also.

The hobs vary in size - you have a small one, two middle-sized and a big one. They're very practical and heat up very fast. You get 10-scale controls for the hobs for precise selection of the temperature you need. Keep in mind that you will have to wipe the hobs with warm water and soap after 2-3 uses otherwise the ceramic top gets sticky.

The stove also features a single oven with volume of 56 litres. In my opinion, this is more than enough for a middle to large household. A big tray or pan fits perfectly. The oven heats up fast but evently on both top and bottom so you won't burn your meal. There's also a fan for convection cooking. It features a timer as well.

Final verdict

I love this stove! It's practical but elegant and fits perfectly in my kitchen. I've used it a lot and can't find a weak spot so far. The stove is a great investment for your kitchen and can be bough for under $350.
