Wenger Swiss backpack price and quick review - why I think it is one of the best consumer backpacks on the market
Wenger quality Swiss backpack |
You have probably heard about the Swiss brand Wenger and the quality products they are making. There was a huge discount campaign for selected Wenger suitcases and backpacks in the local store so I decided to take advantage of the low prices and bought myself a nice backpack.
Of course I was a bit disappointed when I saw the 'made in China' line on the tag because Wenger products are actively advertised as Swiss products and one would think quality Swiss product should be made in Switzerland not anywhere else.
But I also know that almost all of the big manufacturers (worldwide) are outsourcing their businesses in China and that the Chinese can make some really quality products when they want to. That is why I decided it is worth the 18 Euro and bought the backpack.

My first impressions of this Wenger backpack were very good, it felt solidly made and the zips were probably the best I have ever tested on any bag. The backpack looks good and it is also quite functional - it has a secure laptop section inside and few other compartments outside. The back of the backpack is padded for more comfort and also don't allow your back to sweat because the touching area is reduced to a minimum.
You also have ergonomic handles that secure the backpack perfectly while carrying around.

What also surprised me is the fact they gave me a 5-year warranty with this backpack, something that is not seen very common on consumer products like this one.
No matter the fact this bag wasn't made in Switzerland I am glad I bought it, it wasn't expensive and I am sure it is going to last for quite some time.
I will share more impressions when I have it carried around for a while. I wish you safe and pleasant trip and come back later for more interesting tests and reviews.
