It is Android tablet time again and today we are taking a look at one of the most popular cheap Android tablets on the market. I have seen different variations of the 7" MID tablet here and there but all of them have the same basic hardware - 1.2 GHz single core Allwinner A13 (Cortex A8) processor, 512MB of DD3 RAM and 7-inch multi-touch screen with resolution of 800x480.

The variations come from the different color options and the upgraded operating systems - some time ago tablets with similar hardware were offered with Android 2.2 or Android 2.3 of the most popular mobile software platform in the world and now these tablets are mostly sold with Google Android 4.0.

Cheap 7" MID Google Android 4.0 tablet has the basic connection options, including 802.11 b/g and 3G support via external dongle.

Price
The most appealing feature of the 7" MID Google Android 4.0 tablet is its price, which currently varies around $75.

That is very cheap, even for a tablet with basic specs but don't expect too much from this tablet cause its performance is below average when talking about running the latest apps.

I've been using the MID tablet for awhile for reading purposed. It's great for performing light tasks. Do you know how it compares against other 7 inche tablets that are currently out right now? I've been keeping my eye on the Acer ICONIA tablet but it's about $50 more than the MID.

I've seen so many similar tablets with the same specs and just different name. In my opinion the Acer Iconia is a much better tablet.
