iPad 3rd generation review. It seems like everybody in tech world is talking about the new Apple iPad. The 3rd generation of the most popular tablet in the world is already in stores and is already sold out in most of them. Actually the deliveries of the iPad 3 haven't started in most countries yet, North America is priority as usual.

So what is new in the all new iPad 3? Apple claims it is smarter, faster and much more productive than the previous two generations which in our mind were just another fashion gadget for most people.

The 3rd generation iPad has an amazing 9.7-inch display but that is nothing new, the iPad 2 has a gorgeous display as well. The new Retina display has a staggering resolution for a display of this size - 2048x1536.
The new iPad will come in two colors - either white or black. There is nothing different here compared to the iPad 2.

The new A5X chip in the iPad 3 with a fast 1GHz dual-core processor and a quad-core graphics offers great performance but low power consumption as well.

Apple iPad 3 has two cameras on board. 5-megapixel iSight camera is situated at the rear side of the tabled and on the front there is a FaceTime camera with VGA-quality. The battery of the iPad 3 is 42.5-watt-hour rechargeable lithium-polymer and will hold charge for quite some time.

The 3rd generation iPad is offered at a very competitive price. The cheapest 16GB model is offered for less than $600 in US tech stores. This is and amazing deal considering this is a brand new device and the desirability factor is pretty strong. 32 and 64 GB models will be also available for those who need more storage.

So, this is the new iPad and no matter if we like it or not it is going to sell well and only time will show if some of Samsung's new amazing tablets will make this new 3rd generation iPad look like another useless tech toy.
